Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

    Hi. 

    I work for the NHS, and raised it with my IT team. They seemed powerless. 

    This is high school programming to resolve this, it's not new technology . It's the type of thing you give the new starter to test their skill . 

    I think we have to assume that for whatever reason Microsoft just don't care.

    PS, if you set your screen zoom to the lowest you can manage with, it minimises the impact but doesn't solve the problem as the user has to trade functionality for ease of us . 

    Sad day for Microsoft that they don't care about user experience.

    Given the impact of design flaw to the quality of service and the number of people who have commented here its remarkable that nothing has been done. If anybody has a more direct connection to relevant Microsoft staff than this community site or even IT/Ops folks in your organization who have direct connections, please bring this up.

    Totally agree with all the comments above.  The control bar covers the bottom of presentations.  I have no ability to move it or hide it.  Poor design if you ask me!  Microsoft needs to fix this.

    Hi Jennifer,

    The behavior of the task bar is a significant hinderance during meetings. It sometimes goes away after some long period of time and often does not go away at all. And it consumes a lot of real estate, as do the boxes that appear on screen to represent participants. This needs to be under the user's control, not the developer's control. The user needs to be able to move it and size it, at will, depending upon their needs at the time. That is what makes for a good user experience. I should be able to minimize or eliminate these controls at will from the view and have some mechanism of bringing them back, sizing and locating them when needed. One method, as example, is to minimize to a small graphic handle that can be placed anywhere on the screen. 

    I look forward to that upgrade.

    I have the same issue, today some important part of a presentation I was sharing was hidden under that taskbar (that contains the hangout button). Although I removed my mouse pointer away and make a click outside. But that bar was glued there.
