Failed to Update Your Profile! Every time whenever trying to sign in!

Whenever I open the app they ask "How would you like to appear on Teams?" After continuing always getting failed to update... Missed so many meeting due to it and still no solution. Tried creating a new account but it's the same.

    Was finally able to resolve this by not using a gmail account and using an outlook(hotmail account). I am tempted to think they do this on purpose.
