i am unable to get the background settings in microsoft teams

I am a person who uses MICROSOFT TEAMS daily. I have backgrounds and can change them.But I can't add a new background picture to that collection of backgrounds. I need to know why I can't add a new background. When I try to add a picture, it says 'couldn't add background'. I have a doubt whether I need to reduce the size of the picture that I want to add. Please tell me the reason.

Hello, Whenever I go to add custom background effects well in my meeting it says "Un able to add background effect". I have signed in and out and there is nothing on google on how to fix this. Can someone help?
