Hi,
I am using Microsoft Teams for my school. I am using EOS Webcam Utility (NOT Beta) with my Canon EOS 80D. It was working perfectly with video calls for school up until about two weeks ago. Now, whenever I turn on my camera in a video call (and the video setting is EOS Webcam), my Teams crashes and I get an error saying, "There was a glitch. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please sign in again."
In my school, there is an expectation that my camera is on, and my computer's webcam is unusable, so I really need this fixed, and quickly.

I tried as well -
Teams wasn't updating for me from the 'check for updates' menu option so I downloaded again from the main download page and installed that.
I got version 1.3.00.28779
That seems to work with the 1.0 Canon drivers. I have only tried from the device setting preview view so far.
There is a new Version of Teams out: 1.3.00.33674
Just installed it and selected the EOS WEBCAM Utility (without Camera connected) and it did not crash.
Will try my camera today evening at home, but first of all it looks promesing!
Thank you mweiss! You were right. Teams updated itself. I installed the old version again and it works now but it's a hassle... I will downgrade the Eos driver.
HI, you know what i just tried? I installed a slightly older version of the Teams app on my laptop from Sept 29th. And guess what? It works perfectly now :)

No need to deal with EOS utility versions...
Make sense as the latest EOS utility was working fine with Teams. Someone on this thread tracked down the exact version it started and posted it.
My concern would be teams would auto-update itself at some point and you'd be broken again.
Thanks MIchael, very good point. Luckily Teams didnt update overnight. if that happens, i will downgrade EOS webcam utility. Although, i had searched for the beta versions but couldnt find them. Do you have a link?
The Beta is available from canon's website directly. Its one of the past versions.
