When using my Aftershokz OpenComm during a call, I hear a loud beeping noise when I mute myself during the call. This beeping only goes away when I unmute. I've contacted Aftershokz, and they've assured me this is due to a recent MS Teams update causing connectivity issues.
I've also read other non-Microsoft forums and realize this is apparently an issue since 2021 with MS Teams and multiple brands of headphones/headsets. However, it only recently started for me today, April 18, 2022.
Is Microsoft doing anything to solve this issue? Is there a solution to this?
It seems to be making many users upset and frustrated. I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't addressed this yet.

yesterday i’ve tried with teams webclient and the issue disappear., than i’ve used again the app and the problem is no more present. Today i’m working with no issue after restarting the laptop ….. very very strange but now i’m happy 🤞
Same here. Just started this week for me. Pressing + - and holding until I receive the "mute off" comment, it will go away, until I need to actually unmute my teams client, then it comes back immediate when I go back on mute. This is ridiculously annoying.
Same issue with my Aftershoz Opencomm. With my setup I have a USB webcam with mic, and also a Jabra desktop audio conferencing speaker. I find that I can workaround the problem by using the mic from either the USB webcam or the Jabra speaker and using the opencomm as the speakers. If I do this then I do not get the loud beeps when on mute.
But I'd certainly prefer a fix to a workaround.

The same with Senhaiser cx-6.00bt.
Strange, i've used the webapp and than again the app end the strange thing, now it works correctly again.
