shokz headset beeping on mute during Teams meetings

After the latest Teams update a couple of weeks ago, my shokz headset started making a loud beep 2 times every 10 seconds when I am on mute. How can I stop this beep?

    Based on your description, I know the issue you met. So sorry to bring you inconvenience. In fact, many people met the same issue as you after upadting Teams. Microsoft are trying their best to fix this issue. I sincerely suggest you post this in Microsoft Community and let Microsoft know many people met the same issue and fix the issue as soon as possibile. Please be patient to waot for some time.     As many other users I have the same issue: "shokz headset beeping on mute during Teams meetings".

    On May 18, 2022 you wrote: "Microsoft are trying their best to fix this issue"

    Today it is July 11, 2023. The same issue still occures. How does MS adress the issue and what is the solution?

    had the same issue and changed mic setting to use my laptop's speakers instead of Openmove. The beeping has stopped after this change.
