After the latest Teams update a couple of weeks ago, my shokz headset started making a loud beep 2 times every 10 seconds when I am on mute. How can I stop this beep?

this seems to have started recently, worked prior with no interference.
Same issue I'm beeped out
I don't have that issue if I join the meeting via the browser - it prompts this question upon meeting launch.
If I let it connect "automatically" I have that issue.
Is there any update as to WHY this is occurring in Teams and if there is a resolution. It's certainly annoying. Suggestions to just use the web browser aren't really solutions when Teams is become a more common communication tool in our agency.
