After the latest Teams update a couple of weeks ago, my shokz headset started making a loud beep 2 times every 10 seconds when I am on mute. How can I stop this beep?

The constant beep makes it impossible to use the microphone on my shokx. The solution I'm using is to have my webcam as the microphone and just use my Shokx as the speakers. Very unsatisfactory but better than the beeping every 10 seconds.

I have found a fix, temporary I hope. I installed Virtual Audio cables VB-Audio Virtual Cables and configured my sound and Teams setting to route through the virtual cable, and when the host mutes us it does not affect the Opencomm headset, it only mutes the inbound audio. Hopefully, this will be fixed by Shokz or MS.
Fixed it...
Uninstall all versions of Teams.
Log onto a meeting.
You will be asked the question of how you want to connect: Work/School, Browser etc. CHOOSE BROWSER. PROBLEM SOLVED.

Cannot Shokz in their code accommodate this "feature" on the headset by sensing the used applications (MS Teams) and prevent the tone from firing/sounding whenever one is muted on MS teams?
