Teams away setting automatically switching on when not away

Hi there,

My teams status is constantly switching to "away" while I am working on my computer. This is very frustrating as my co-workers need to know when I am actually away or available.

Is there a manual override for this? It would be excellent to be able to set it as available so that my team knows they can reach my even if I am working on paper, or in this case if it has switched itself to "away".

Thanks!

This is not acceptable solution. When working it goes to away too quickly. We need to be able to control what status we want and not be bound by the micro-management of Microsoft.

That is precisely the issue.  It is showing away when actively working on another program.  I hate to say but people follow that status to see if you are working.  With some update made recently it changes even though still actively working on the PC.

Some people work in a punitive environment.

You've not really addressed the problem here, and I have doubts that you ever truly understood the problem in the first place. Teams will show us as AWAY even when we're actively working on CPU.

The least you could do is inform us of what's being done to solve this issue. I've seen many posts about this on the UserVoice service, and yet here we are, still discussing the problem whilst you remain silent......... Thanks for giving us a **** answer and then disappearing.
