Teams - Revert to Classic Emojis

Greetings!

Microsoft Teams recently rolled out the Microsoft Fluent emoji style in Teams. This change altered all emojis and reactions across the platform and made them look incredibly displeasurable and unusual. In a business environment, I would venture to say the updated emojis are unusable due to the fact that they are so silly (for lack of a better word). I have thus far been unable to revert the emojis back to the way they were before this update; however, I would like to do this, as would my team. Is there any way to revert the emojis back to the way they were before this Microsoft Fluent emoji style update?

Thanks for any insight!

Unless I'm 100% certain that the other people who are using Teams see exactly what I'm seeing, I'm still considering this an open problem that Microsoft must address ASAP

I agree with everyone on this thread. We need to make it clear to Microsoft that we are not just complaining about the style of these emojis. It's also about the difficulty in interpreting the emotions they are supposed to represent and the potential for workplace misunderstandings. I've created a separate post to that effect here:

I don't know if another post will help but I can't sit silent about this because I really do think it's already made our work chats less authentic and more confusing. I'm also wondering if we can make an accessibility complaint, given how unclear the emojis are from a visual standpoint.

People keep focusing on the childish appearance of the emojis. I agree 100%, but Microsoft won't listen to this as they'll just assume you don't like the style.

What we need to make clear is that at any reasonable screen resolution, these emojis are indistinguishable from one another.

    Hi KB_116,

My name is Didi. I'm happy to help you today.

I'm afraid it's not possible to revert to the old emojis at the moment. There have been several requests to bring back the old style and I invite you to upvote or leave a comment on any of the links below.

    Kind regards,

Thank you Didi, commented on all 3.

Please change back the emojis or allow the option. These are too weird and unprofessional looking.

I've commented and voted on all 3 links above, but my question is...will the votes be aggregated as the posts are all about the same issue?
