Many of the members of our Team have a "GIF" button along with the emoji and format buttons, but I have never had the ability to add gifs to my chats. I have no idea why this would be happening.

I'm a global admin for my company and couldn't figure out why I didn't have giphy on my teams, despite having the authority to give myself the permission.

while it is possible it's disabled by either an org admin or just the team owner, I found that the icon will also disappear if "optional connected experiences" is not enabled, under privacy in settings.

They may be gone ... But not Forgotten ......

If you Search GIF from your Chat Screen you will see all of GIF's you have sent....

YOU CAN COPY THEM AND PASTE!!!!

Raise the Jolly Roger Flag and send GIF's to you ADMIN!!

This is not a correct statement, everyone on my team can send and see Gifs, I cannot. So its not a teams owner problem it seems to be specific to my account.

Great thanks Matt, worked perfectly! I disabled this option as part of testing for a user and forgot about it until I saw your post, sorted!
