MS Teams Crashes when using a camera

I am experiencing regular crashes of MS teams when i enable either the internal or an external camera. 

The separate camera app works fine as does camera capabilities in other video apps such as zoom.

am running win 10

    Same issue.  Was working perfectly last week.  Now I cannot join or start a meeting with the camera activated without Teams crashing and reopening with a "glitch" message.  Then, when I attempt to log into the meeting again, it says I'm already signed in (on another device) and asks if I want to either add this device or replace it.  I can join a meeting successfully if the camera if off.  But if I try activate the camera once I'm in the meeting, the same glitch occurs.  (Using Canon EOS Web Utility)

    I've got 5 PCs on my network with the same issue

    All Windows 8.1 Pro running version 1.3.00.30866 64bit with external USB cameras.

    They were fine up until about a week ago. Uninstalling and reinstalling Teams seems to help for a short while

    Same issue for me.  I have a Logitech C920 external webcam using Team v1.3.00.30866 which is the most recently update from just a week ago.  When I enable the webcam, Team's crashes.  The webcam worked in previous versions of Teams and also currently works on Skype for Business, Goolge Meet and Zoom.  I have a Lenovo T440 running Windows 8.1.

    The current workaround is to use Teams via the web app (teams.microsoft.com) and the external webcam works, but the camera quality and video conference experience is not as good as the native app.  But it will do until MS finds a fix which I hope will be in the next Teams update (fingers crossed!)

    Same issue here with a Sony A7C and "Imaging Edge Webcam" and 1.3.00.30866 (64-bit).

    Same with me -I wanted to start using a Sony Imaging Edge Webcam software with a6300 camera.

    Skype works fine but Teams crashes in a loop after every few seconds....

    Any working solution?
