MS Teams Crashes when using a camera

I am experiencing regular crashes of MS teams when i enable either the internal or an external camera. 

The separate camera app works fine as does camera capabilities in other video apps such as zoom.

am running win 10

    I saw a post stating that this issue was caused by the latest update but is limited to the App.  The workaround for now is to use Web version of MSTeams.  That worked for me.  Canon EOS web utility is now working flawlessly.

    Same here with CANON EOS Webcam Utility (skype, zoom and other utility works great)

    I've got exactly the same issue using a Sony a68.  It was working perfectly with Teams prior to 1.3.00.30866, but now shuts down with the Glitch message as soon as I select video, or linger in settings.   The Sony software is fine with Camera, Zoom and Skype.

    Teams seems OK with a low cost, generic USB camera, but it means that using Teams with that gives me the worst video quality, which is not what you expect of a Corporate product.

    Just to confirm i have the Logitech C920 as well.

    I came to the harsh realisation that its quicker to enable my onedrive backup of my profile and copy my data to a spare drive and then wipe the pc.

    Trying to solve this issue took me hours.

    A backup and wipe took me 1 hour.

    Wish I could charge microsoft for my time.

    To confirm since a fresh start on my pc I have not had this issue even with the reinstallation of 1.3.00.30866.

    Same with me -I wanted to start using a Sony Imaging Edge Webcam software with a6300 camera.

    Skype works fine but Teams crashes in a loop after every few seconds....

    Any working solution?
