MS Teams Crashes when using a camera

I am experiencing regular crashes of MS teams when i enable either the internal or an external camera. 

The separate camera app works fine as does camera capabilities in other video apps such as zoom.

am running win 10

    I have the same issue as described with the Canon Webcam utility. Worked perfect for months but with the latest update (1.3.00.30866) it just crashes. Camera works fine in other applications such as OBS. The camera works perfect in Teams on other computers that are not yet updated. 

    The latest version still works fine with my old Logitech C920.

    Wound up here searching for my issue. Latest version of Teams, 1.3.00.30866 64bit and it crashes once it tries to turn on camera (either with a call or in the settings under preview) I have a a Razer Kiyo webcam. Other apps that access the camera, like Zoom, Razer app, etc... have no problem. Seems this latest version of Teams broke something. Thoughts?

    Indeed, I have th identical issues.  something changed recently, and when using a Logitech c920, my Teams meetings are stable.  But when using the CANON DSLR with the CANON EOS Webcam Utility:  12.33.19.728 for example, Teams will crash very often.   no problems in ZOOM.

    Microsoft Teams Version 1.3.00.30866 (64-bit)

    I bit more information if it helps the troubleshooting process... 

    I have a Canon 60D with Canon Webcam drivers installed, it's worthwhile to note that I also have the beta of the driver installed. 

    It's when I use the Canon production driver does it crashes my Team application. it's been working fine for months before this. 

    What is the resolution?

    Exact same issue for me using Sony a5100 as a webcam with sony imaging edge software. Using v 1.3.00.30866. 

    worked fine earlier this morning - jow broken.
