MS Teams Crashes when using a camera

I am experiencing regular crashes of MS teams when i enable either the internal or an external camera. 

The separate camera app works fine as does camera capabilities in other video apps such as zoom.

am running win 10

    This is the main issue here. Rolling back is easy enough but it auto updates to the latest version causing the crashes/glitches once again. How does M$ drop the ball on this, especially with the race so tight with competitors to gain market share. Disappointing. Zoom had an issue with Big Sur and virtual backgrounds...only took them 2 weeks to release an update.

    I also have this issue with EOS Webcam Utility and Teams v 1.3.00.30866.  Teams Desktop app is the only software that crashes at startup if the webcam is installed.

    Also tested just now, with full uninstall and cache clear; no change, still crashing.

    Go back to 1.3.00.15561. Its easy enoigh to find - it works.
