MS Teams Crashes when using a camera

I am experiencing regular crashes of MS teams when i enable either the internal or an external camera. 

The separate camera app works fine as does camera capabilities in other video apps such as zoom.

am running win 10

    Updated Teams to version 1.3.00.30866, and this crashes every time using Canon EOS Webcam Utility with an M50.

    Skype, Zoom, OBS, work flawlessly.

    Uninstalled Teams, found a previous version 1.3.00.15561, and this works without any issues, with the exact same camera setup.

    I will not post the link, but if you are desperate as I was, and NEED this for your job, you can Google 1.3.00.15561.

    I will have our IT guys install that exact version of teams!

    I've tried it on my personal pc and worked like a charm!

    Not so. I already did this. There is another bug in teams when usingvthis method that, unless you are using a blurred background, or any other background, the picture is very jerky. Its a another known bug.

    The solution for the Sony is to spend £10 on a cheap HDMI to USB adaptor and cable and use that instead of the free Sony software.  I should have done it in the first place.  The picture's much better and you get audio as well.

    I have the same problem with sony zv1 using imaging edge as a webcam. Teams crashes constantly

    I saw a post stating that this issue was caused by the latest update but is limited to the App.  The workaround for now is to use Web version of MSTeams.  That worked for me.  Canon EOS web utility is now working flawlessly.
