I am experiencing regular crashes of MS teams when i enable either the internal or an external camera.

The separate camera app works fine as does camera capabilities in other video apps such as zoom.

am running win 10

Skype works fine but Teams crashes in a loop after every few seconds....

Indeed, I have th identical issues.  something changed recently, and when using a Logitech c920, my Teams meetings are stable.  But when using the CANON DSLR with the CANON EOS Webcam Utility:  12.33.19.728 for example, Teams will crash very often.   no problems in ZOOM.

    Hi EugeneNOC,

Apologies if the suggested methods didn't work. Have you also tried to temporarily disable your antivirus and check again? as well as ensure that you are running the latest version of Windows 10. I also suggest to perform a repair install of your Windows:

Good day! I'm Raniel, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

Kindly try to perform the steps on this article and see if it fixes the issue: https://windows101tricks.com/webcam-freezes-win...

Have you also tried to login using MS Teams web app https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkID=87302... to further isolate the issue?

I also suggest to uninstall the desktop app via control panel, delete the files under %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache and %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Application Cache\Cache, perform a reboot and try to install the latest version via https://www.microsoft.com/en/microsoft-365/micr...

You may also run the SFC and DISM command as well to repair system files

    1. On the search bar, type "command prompt" and select Run as administrator
    2. Type the following commands in order

    sfc /scannow then press Enter

    Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /CheckHealth then press Enter

    Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /ScanHealth then press Enter

    Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth then press Enter

    rundll32.exe pnpclean.dll,RunDLL_PnpClean /DRIVERS /MAXCLEAN then press Enter

    1. Perform a reboot once done and check again.

    I hope this helps.
