MS Teams Crashes when using a camera

I am experiencing regular crashes of MS teams when i enable either the internal or an external camera. 

The separate camera app works fine as does camera capabilities in other video apps such as zoom.

am running win 10

    I confirm the newest version works fine with Sony mirror webcam and A6300

    An update for my user case...

    I had reverted back to 1.3.00.15561 to gain back the functionality of my Canon M6 MkII using Canon EOS Webcam Utility.

    It seems Teams has auto-updated to 1.3.00.28779 (which adds the functionality of choosing audio and video options before a meeting. among other things I suspect) and it is still working. Fingers crossed...

    There is only one fix. Its been mentiones a lot. 

    roll back to a previous version.

    Not a perfect solution - but I found installing OBS, Starting the Virtual Camera and using that Virtual Camera within MS Teams works.
