Screen Flickering when Sharing screen in Microsoft Teams

Hi guys

Ive googled this and seem to get not the "right" answer.

My work has started using screens for remote access and its terrific. But everytime i share my screen, it has serious constant flicker which not only i see but so does the person on the other end.

Whats the cause

OK.. I think I may have found the solution. When sharing your screen many tiles show up for you to share. Some of these tiles are under 2 categories DESKTOP and WINDOW. Make your selection for the screen you want to share under DESKTOP NOT WINDOW. This selection made my screen not flicker anymore.

    Same problem here. Today it appeared while using Teams to share Openboard. It was OK until past week. The problem only appears while sharing the program window, not while sharing the whole desktop. It's unbearable.

    I also just now are having the same issue while presenting with Revit 19. It is getting annoying.

    Yes, it seems in Revit 2020 it will work without flicker when sharing desktop but not window

    Hi everyone, it seems we have worked it out and i think its similar to what was posted above.

    When sharing, I have been sharing the window of a particular program when im given the option to choose a view. So essentially im sharing my microstation model/program. What we discovered yesterday was when i tried to share control with someone else. It wouldnt let me. Once i shared the "desktop" out of all the choices, it allowed me to have shared control (our heads were on the pointers...lol) and it stopped flickering
