Screen Flickering when Sharing screen in Microsoft Teams

Hi guys

Ive googled this and seem to get not the "right" answer.

My work has started using screens for remote access and its terrific. But everytime i share my screen, it has serious constant flicker which not only i see but so does the person on the other end.

Whats the cause

OK.. I think I may have found the solution. When sharing your screen many tiles show up for you to share. Some of these tiles are under 2 categories DESKTOP and WINDOW. Make your selection for the screen you want to share under DESKTOP NOT WINDOW. This selection made my screen not flicker anymore.

    This seems to work for most programs (even Adobe products), but off course, as always with a workaround, your mileage may vary :-)

    Hey!

    The company that i am working for is also experiencing this issue, we use a lot off cad, pdfs and BIM files.

    While only sharing the desktop seems to be an ok solution for most cases, however we often need to share only certain windows (as many people on this thread has commented).

    What i have found to be a solution is to run the program that you are going to share with administrator privileges**(Run as administrator)**, this solved the flickering for us.

    Of course it isn't a real solution, but it's a workaround for those who can use it. 

    I used it to share a document camera while teaching. On my laptop I am the admin, that's right.

    Might work for Office Products, but not suitable / Available for Adobe Products, Chome Browser,... were the flickering is appearing as well.
