MacOS Catalina and Teams Screen Sharing

I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

    I also have the same problem to share my screen with my students on TEAMS with my Macbook working with macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (updated regularly). One day it accepts to share my screen, the other it doesn't. Sometimes at the beginning of a class it works, later during the same class it doesn't anymore. This is particularly annoying when I can't explain things without sharing my screen, e.g. when we work on an online textbook for which I need to show my internet page. I have tried the process explained earlier (security & privacy settings) tens of times, but it still continues to be hazardous: one day it works, the other it doesn't... I really can't depend on it and I start feeling desperate to find a solution.

    Have not been in Full screen mode. Screen sharing will not work in either mode.

    I am using Catalina version 10.15.7 and when I downloaded the TEAMS app. version 1.3.00.28778, everything seems fine but I cannot share my screen. I can share powerpoints or anything else. When I go to system preferences, Privacy settings, screen recording, the TEAMS app is not listed for me to check to allow for screen sharing. Help please.
