I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.
I managed to solve this by closing every apps and also vpn app to reboot macbook.
After that, it starts to work again.
I think I have concluded that screen sharing never works when I have invited to the teams meeting myself. If I join other peoples meetings I can share my screen.
Mine started working yesterday.....I have not updated ANYTHING as I had already given all the permissions
My coworkers and I have repeatedly tried this.
We have restarted teams... restarted our macs...
Teams STILL asks for permission, which it already has.
I am SO glad we were forced to give up Slack after YEARS of nonsense like this NEVER happening. </sarcasm>
