I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.
I've been having the same issues as all. Closing the Apple Photos app appears to be a work around for me. Opening it back up causes the same security issue.
My temporary workaround is that I created Chrome shortcut webapp from the web Teams, where screensharing works. So I do not have native MacOS app, however the webapp works
This problem is not only Teams. I was just in a Webex call, initiated through Chrome (because Catalina misbehaves with Webex desktop app). When I tried to share my screen, I got a similar message about allowing Chrome access to showing the screen. But when I ticked the box, nothing improved.
When I put Chrome into Full Screen, the screen sharing worked no trouble. Same thing most of us see with Teams.
