Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls for optimal communication
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It Works! I can't believe it! The Setting is in Teams.

Been using Teams since the start of lockdown with a headset. As of today I am getting a double-beep at about five second intervals (like a hold beep) in the headset when I am muted. This has not happened before and been using same headset for months.
Also note that when I mute / unmute in Teams, the headset now announces "mute on" and "mute off" to me.
This feels like a Teams update has created this "feature" - please turn it off!

I also contacted Shokz about this issue.
They are only sending out BT dongles for OpenComm headsets.
I originally reported the issue with my AS800 but also have a ASC100 (OpenComm).
Also the BT dongles currently are not available for purchase.
They were not able to give me a time when the dongle would be available for purchase.
"Thank you for the information. I am sorry but the dongle that we are sending is exclusive to OpenComm users. This is not yet available for purchase or available for resell."
"Thank you. As a one-time courtesy for being a valued customer, instead of sending you a replacement, we can send you an adapter that might help you with the situation. This is not yet available for purchase yet or available for resell. This dongle will work for Windows 7 or Mac OS 10.15 or later version."
That is good to hear. I also contacted Shokz and my dongle is being shipped out. I will confirm if it fixes my issue after I get it.
Issue with the the "Mute On/Off" and beeping has been fixed! I talked to Shokz (hello [ A T ] shokz [ D O T ] com) and Shokz sent me a small dongle that works with Teams. It's not ideal, I'd rather just use my laptop's native bluetooth functionality (which worked great for years until Microsoft's latest update) but at least I can use my headset again.

Hi Dirk. Do you know what Windows/driver/Teams update fixed that?
