Been using Teams since the start of lockdown with a headset. As of today I am getting a double-beep at about five second intervals (like a hold beep) in the headset when I am muted. This has not happened before and been using same headset for months.
Also note that when I mute / unmute in Teams, the headset now announces "mute on" and "mute off" to me.
This feels like a Teams update has created this "feature" - please turn it off!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It Works! I can't believe it! The Setting is in Teams.
My aftershokz started this really annoying problem this morning. I removed the headset from the bluetooth audio options in my Windows 10 HP laptop, performed a factory reset on the headset, and re-paired to the laptop. the beeping and mute notifications are now gone. Please give this a try everyone.
Same problem on my Aeropex AfterShokz as of 10/05/2022! Been using them no problem since January 2021, why suddenly has this started! I've read all the work rounds and apart from seeing if I can get a bluetooth dongle doesn't seem there is one. What a pain and why suddenly did this happen!
Here the same problem sence Yesterday. I have the aftershokz. Very anoying. I'm not that good with a pc. Has anyone solved this problem easily?
I have the same issue and fortunately have a Jabra Link. Your method worked well. Thanks a lot! - Update: The Jabra Link works only well with Jabra products. My Aftershokz only worked well one time and didn't in the second place. So, this can not be a solution.
