Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls for optimal communication
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It Works! I can't believe it! The Setting is in Teams.

Been using Teams since the start of lockdown with a headset. As of today I am getting a double-beep at about five second intervals (like a hold beep) in the headset when I am muted. This has not happened before and been using same headset for months.
Also note that when I mute / unmute in Teams, the headset now announces "mute on" and "mute off" to me.
This feels like a Teams update has created this "feature" - please turn it off!

I'm just checking if anyone has tried out the "new" Teams?
The disable sync switch fixed my issue with my Aftershokz Opencomm headset, but when I tried the new Teams it came back with a vengeance and the sync setting didn't fix it.
So I'm back on the old Teams. But I know I'll eventually be forced there and was hoping someone had a fix that worked with it.
Thanks!
Sherri
Hi Daniel,
I had the same problem of beep sound with my Jabra evolve 2 65 Flex headset although it was an MS Teams Certified headset. I rolled back the MS Teams into the previous version which solved the problem. I believe it has more to do with MS Teams itself than the headset.

Thank you Thank you Thank you
resetting the laptop, the headset. Teams, nothing helped.
I'll try that! this isn't a bluetooth anything. Bluetooth is turned off on this device in Windows and I don't think it even has a bluetooth receiver. it's a desktop (and VDI through the desktop) I have a dobly 5.1 speaker set plugged into the sound card and a USB Blue Yeti mic.
i'll try your suggestion - maybe tomorrow (i'm still in the meeting)....and post the results.
ps - very serious about the lego thing....
