Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls for optimal communication
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It Works! I can't believe it! The Setting is in Teams.

Been using Teams since the start of lockdown with a headset. As of today I am getting a double-beep at about five second intervals (like a hold beep) in the headset when I am muted. This has not happened before and been using same headset for months.
Also note that when I mute / unmute in Teams, the headset now announces "mute on" and "mute off" to me.
This feels like a Teams update has created this "feature" - please turn it off!

hello
i used a Polycom heaset and had same issue, like many other type of headsets reported here.
the probleme is on windows / Teams side, not on the Headset side ...
after trying different way to mute / unmute in different windows advanced settings box,
i finaly got rid of that anoying bip noise ... I just don't know how and why it went off one day ...
MS technology is not an exact science ... lol
It still don't see why disabling the microphone on your headset will create constant beeping sounds while you are listening in on a converstation/meeting?
Its a useless and extremely annoying feature. Remove it.
But where would a fix for Senheiser fix this and where would I find it.
I still believe its not an issue for Senheiser since everyting is working as expected , but for the sake my sanity, where can I find that update for my HD485BT ?
I got HD 458 BT and having the same issue. Does anyone solve the problem? Thanks
Dang. I got excited by this and thought it would solve the problem for me, but it didn't. I hope it works for other people.
