Bluetooth Headset not working with teams.

I've found out a combination of measures which works in my case (on WIN 11):

1. I had to unmark the "Handsfree Telephony" service in the device properties.
   • go to Devices and Printers;
   • right click over your bluetooth headset;
   • go to the headset Properties -> Services;
   • unmark (unchoose) the "Handsfree Telephony" and Apply changes.

2. Sometimes or each time I join Teams meating (!) I have to change the Spatial sound Type. Just change the selection from Off to Windows Sonic for Headphones or vise versa (!) I don't have any explanation for that, although it works for me. The another interesting thing is, that after I do that change in Spatial sound Type first time and headset works in the particular Teams meating, I am able to switch between those both Types (Off or Windows Sonic.......) without any impact on headset work - "It is as it is" :)

My Bluetooth earphone's mic is working while taking calls in SKYPE but not with Teams,

Since we are permanently switching over to Teams, it would be a problem for us.

I have often noticed, Microsoft is very careless in addressing customer concerns.

Even for any application bugs, they take ages even to understand the issue, and even after that they give any bla bla excuses and run away..

#1 worked for me. I am using a company laptop with limited access to machine settings.

• Windows 10 Enterprise
• 21H2 Version
• Build 19044.2130
• Teams version 1.5.00.28361 (32-bit)

If it helps, my bluetooth audio device is the Divoom Ditoo Plus.

I have MSFT Bluetooth  key board and mouse and Samsung Bluetooth galaxy buds. The Headset is a supported device and never gets disconnected irony of irony not the MSFT key board & mouse gets disconnected. That too it gets disconnected exactly 45 min into a meeting presentation. The solution I was given was to use lap inbuilt keyboard and mouse!! This happens every time without fail as though they have timed it :) and  i have got used to it. What a design, they forgot to support their own device :)

This worked for me...

1. Unpair headset
2. Right-click start menu and open Device Manager
3. Expand Bluetooth
4. Right-click Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator and disable. It will give you a warning about devices not working. Unless you have devices that require Bluetooth low energy, it will be okay. Leave the other one (without LE) enabled.
5. Pair your headset
6. Enjoy
