JBL TUNE500BT headphones with microsoft teams

I just bought JBL TUNE500BT headphones and works perfectly but on microsoft teams the sound is robotic. I tried many ways in settings but sound still not good. Is there any special driver or settings?

    Hello,

    It is a shame of course,I just bought as well because discount on JBL Tune 500BT.

    I have issue with all voice application Teams/Skype  on Windows 10.I did not try other windows version.

    I have been told from JBL to updated my driver, so I did it,but not solve.

    The issue are the 2 profiles used by JBL, sound stereo and handsfree

    As already somebody else pointed in the forum there are 2 workaround

    1)To use the lapotop microphone and use the JBL only to route the speaker audio, which is quite boring as you need to stick close to the laptop

    2)Playing with the application sound setting, for istance with teams:

    The only way I have to make them working it is to play with the settings in the :

    when you start the call it will be distorted, other people can here you well, but you will listen distorted.

    While call ongoing, in speaker select the laptop speaker. In audio device you will notice "Custom",

    open and select back Hands Free.

    It will start to work fine, sometimes I need to repeat this operation a couple of time.

    I know it is not nice expecially in business call, but as today it is the only way I found.

    For god sake! Why would we whant a workaround??? Why cant Microsoft once in thirs life make something to work straight ahead??? It is always like this with them for every single thing, they are unable to fix Outlook for Android for more then a year!!! Shame on you Microsoft!!!

    yes it would be great if microsoft fix it,......but knowing them , I lost one week with drivers and setting, that s why I highlited that the second workaround it might not work at first attempts and need maybe to try twice, just in case somebody want to use it, but it is not reliable solution also because during the call it can back to hear noise and need to repeat step

    Funny, because I do not see Sony anywhere in the device certification list in the link you provided above. I have a set of older MDR-10RBT that works perfectly fine with no issue whatsoever, however my (new) JBL 750BTNC give this garbled robot voice. Has anything been developed since to resolve this? With the pandemic and everything moving to online, something really needs to be done!!!
