Hi everyone.
I have an issue with our Logitech Meetup conference camera. If i look at the image via the Windows 10 camera app, the image quality is very good (1080p) .
But when working in Microsoft Teams, or Skype for consumer, the image is blurry, with jagged edges that indicate that the resolution is very low. If, for comparison i try to reproduce the same image quality in the Windows 10 camera app (there i can choose the resolution manually, i have to reduce the quality to 360p).
Our bandwidth is 300mbps down/30mpbps up so that should not be the problem.
I first thought that it had to do with the performance of our conference PC.
But the strange thing is that in Google Hangout or Zoom, i don't have this problem, there the image quality is just fine/as expected.
Also when i connect my Surface Book to the Logitech Meetup, i have the same bad quality in Teams, but when i switch to the internal camera of the Surface Book, image quality is perfect...
In skype for consumer I have the same issue as in Teams, so i think that it has to do with the way Microsoft addresses the camera.
Firmware of the Meetup is on the latest version (i installed it to improve the automatic centering on the audience aka RightSight) but I am not sure if i have used the Meetup camera in Teams with the old firmware) , all latest windows and teams updates are installed.
Any clues ? Thanks for your insights.

The Rally (non bar version) is about the most cost effective (from our POV) functional system for medium rooms.
Not as aesthetically pleasing as a bar but ill go functionality over less than VHS quality visuals.
The Meetup should qualify on specs, but it just doesnt work.
Rally Bar is not an alternative, the price is to high (in Germany is it arroud 3,500 EUR).
I will test a Meeting Owl (Owl Labs) to see if it works better.

to me, the camera sends the lowest resolution into teams and then zooms that. instead of cropping a 4k stream.
its been so long now i can only presume there will not be a fix from either logitech or microsoft for the meetup camera. Ours has been relegated to backup meeting room, and if it wasnt for having to buy another one, would seriously just chuck it in the bin. It is clearly a fundamental flaw with the camera in particular and teams because of the low resolution teams works in.
We changed our meeting room to a Rally (turret) system and that has been working great so far.
I am wondering if someone has tried the new rally bar or rally bar mini to see if they have the same issue.
The rally bar mini with no optical zoom i can only guess may have the same issue the meetup camera has.
I've been working on conferencing devices/setups for nearly a year now and I've not seen a fix for Teams... If you are looking to run a Microsoft Teams Room, the quality ALSO improves there, however, the Teams client still fails... it's really disappointing.
