Audio output through bluetooth not working in teams app android

I  am  using Teams  app  android  to  attend  my online classes  but I am facing issues  with bluetooth speaker. I wanted  to  use  Nest  mini  for  audio  output so  I   paired  to  it through bluetooth  on  my android device and  audio  output of  all  the  apps  work  except teams. This  issue  seems  to  be  only  on  android  app  because on  the  desktop app on  windows 10 the  same  speaker  works  absolutely fine. In  the  android app  when  I  try  to  switch  the  audio  output to  bluetooth, within  a  second it  switches  back  to  device  audio. I  tried on another android device as  well  but no luck. I  am  running the  latest  teams  version  (as  no  updates  available in  Play  store). Any  help  is  welcome.

Thank you! It finally worked. While in the call, I disconnected the Bluetooth headset and connected again. Teams audio directly went to the Bluetooth device. Let's see how long it stays like that. I was trying to get the audio working for Galaxy Buds Pro.

Thanks, I'll try that. I'm hopeful, as I'm tied to teams for work.

Fresh install, first time running teams on new device, no Bluetooth option in Teams. I've been having the same issue for a long time on multiple phones. Bluetooth isn't an option, only device or speaker. Was hoping Android 13 would fix it, but no change. Definitely not a device or OS issue as all other apps work fine with my headsets and handsfree.

I had the problem as well.

Disabling/uninstall Phone-Link (Phone App Windows 10) solved it for me.
