So recently our organization decided to use Microsoft Teams for our communication. And It is working fine on Web and iPhone But no one is able to login on Android Device. Whenever we try to login on Android Device using Team App, we get this error.

There was a problem with the network. Try signing in again

I have logged in using same credentials on iOS and Web and It worked but same credentials are not working on Android.

Please guide me, how to fix this issue as it is very urgent for us.

I am experiencing the issue attempting to connect Teams from a Grandstream phone running Android.  I had a similar issue with Teams on a Yealink SIP-T55A but then I noticed it had an alternative option of connecting with a code, from a PC go to https://microsoft.com/devicelogin and then enter the displayed code.  Once the code was entered on the web page, Teams just connected to my account on the phone.

I would love to know how I can get that version of Teams which would give me the alternative method of connecting using the generated code but I cannot seem to find one like that.

    The T55 version information is:

    Teams Version 1449 / 1.0.94.2020020601

Perhaps this is something created for Yealink specifically?

I started seeing the same issue on my Androind OnePlus5T(running Nougat 9.0)

I was able to resolve the issue by resetting network settings and then change the domain to @contoso.onmicrosoft.com

This redirected me to the login page, where i simply clicked on login with a different account and entered my org AD credentials and was able to successfully login to Teams app.

Hope this helps solve your problem as well

I've been having this issue for months and uninstalling Authenticator fixed it for me too.

How is this still an issue over a year later!?

Per Microsoft Dev Team in response to our company complain, as multiple users are affected across the enterprise, apparently, there is a bug within Teams Android app. As a work-around, I use Chrome to open Teams and it works. No ETA as when the fix will be applied.
