the last week or so I get a random (i don't see a reason/activity for it when it happens) ringing in my headset...like a phone call ringtone, but there is no activity on Teams. No one is calling me or messaging me, there is not an upcoming meeting scheduled.
My IT support team thought it was something wrong/setting on my Jabra Evolve headset, but I tried turning off a ringtone setting in the headset's settings, but yet, I still get this same mystery ringing still
any ideas what could be causing this ?

I haven't seen a solution from MS yet... disappointing!
What works for me: on your headphones press the button to hang-up, do NOT use de hang-up button in Teams itself.

Have the same issue.
My solution is to open "Task Manger" (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) and "End task" the "Microsoft Teams" by right click on its icon.
It is better than restart your PC again cause of this "ringing" sound...
This is the first thing I have tried - works sometimes, other not so much.
Then it is a hard reset
Hanging up first is the key to me (regardless of the button pressed on Teams or headphone which is possibly faster for you).

I have the same problem, but mine rings 2 times when my computer wakes up from sleep.
