team mysterious ringing

the last week or so I get a random (i don't see a reason/activity for it when it happens) ringing in my headset...like a phone call ringtone, but there is no activity  on Teams.  No one is calling me or messaging me, there is not an upcoming meeting scheduled.

My IT support team thought it was something wrong/setting on my Jabra Evolve headset,   but I tried turning off a ringtone setting in the headset's settings, but yet, I still get this same mystery ringing still

any ideas what could be causing this ?

This problem has started for me in the past 3 months.

I am on Windows 11 21H2 - when I make a Teams call all is is fine. When the call is ended Teams continues to make a ringing sound as if it were calling out.

Microsoft Teams Version 1.5.00.19574 (64-bit). It was last updated on 28/07/2022

    Lenovo X1 Laptop

Jabra Evolve2 65 headset with Jabra Link 380

Very frustrating - I have to sign out of Teams to get it to stop. Occasionally I can make a test call from Settings and this will clear it.

    Thanks

    Scott

Our IT dept shut down my Teams and re-started. I also upgraded my Windows 10 Enterprise to 21H2 OS Build 19044.1288. I am using a Bluetooth headset and everything is working now!

I've been having this issue for the past few weeks now. The post seem to indicate it is something to do with Bluetooth devices disconnecting but my PC does not have Bluetooth.

This only seems to happen to me when I'm using a Bluetooth device like my bluetooth headset or Bose 700 UC bluetooth device. If I'm using my laptop speakers/mic or a USB-connected speakerphone it doesn't happen for me.

    Clue?

It's amazing how 2 years have gone and Microsoft can not fix the issue regarding audio device disconnection trigering a fake Teams call... unbelievable.
