How do I move a channel from one Teams to another Teams?

To get Microsoft to respond to customer requirements and introduce a new feature, you first have to get a competitor (eg Zoom) to introduce the feature and start to gain market share.

Once Microsoft has lost enough marketshare to the competitor, from not offering the feature, then Microsoft will add it to their deployment plan.

After that, it's a only a matter of a few short years before the feature becomes available in the Microsoft product.

The thread in User Voice has over 12k Votes along with thousands of requests for update on this topic and last update was in July 2019.  What is the process for getting status updates?

At the moment, we don't have the option to move channels between different Teams. However, this function is in the plan and in order to make Microsoft aware of your needs, please vote and comment on the following thread - https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16939708-move-channels-into-other-teams.

Additionally, at the moment it is only feasible to move Files tab content between the channels (in same or different teams). Tabs and conversations are not yet included. To move files, go to Files tab under the channel in question, select the files you want to move or copy, click on move or copy and to select different team as the destination, click up two times until the list of teams appear. Now select the team you want to move the files tom then the channel and click move/ copy.
