Unable to access my Outlook/hotmail email account. Error 401- RESOLVED

Something is wrong with my personal email account, as other members of my family are able to access their Outlook email accounts. When I try to log on to Outlook (hotmail) on my phone or on my PC, I receive the following error message. I need to be able to access my emails. Please advise on how I can resolve this. I have already reset my password and cleared my cache and history.

I have spoken with Microsoft this AM via live chat and its a known issue which is effecting some users. They are working on the issue and hope to have it resolved asap

    Quote frankly, this is just terrible support. I pay for 365 and have no access to email for nearly 24 hours. The only saving grace is that I can see the push notifications on my phone telling me who the email is from, although when I click on it the outlook app says it can't be opened.

    You would think Microsoft would have the foresight to put a message up on the 500 or 401 error page so people don't spend an hour plus trying to contact what seems to be a non-existent customer support team.

    Fix the authentication issues. 24 hours is eternity in the world of computing.

    I'm having the same issue on two of my email addresses but not the third. I can log into my account to access other things such as this site and office, but outlook gets stuck on the blue envelope loading screen. I can't access on outlook, safari, or chrome.
