I am unable to set-up a new PIN as it asks for a security code to be sent on a number I no longer have. I just updated my number on microsoft accounts and it says will take 30 days before it takes effect. Now I can't even log into my laptop. No option for password login or to change to a local account. Someone HELP!!!

    Hi David,

I didn't need to change my PIN/PASSWORD you simply reactivate the old one.

See other message that I have put up which will explain what I did.

By the way you can chage your password, but in this instance, you're stuck because you yet again are required to verify it's you in doing so. And then you find that you are once again waiting on a verification code that never comes. I went down every conceivable avenue and this was the dead end every single time.

    Regards

That's what I had to do unfortunately, wipe out everything other than that I have tried everything and it didn't work.
