Windows 11 fresh installation "Let's connect you to a network" stuck

Hi,

I am trying to install Win11 on my new Lenovo Air14. It was delivered with a Chinese version if the OS, so I formatted everything. I created a USB-drive with a second PC using the Media Creation Tool, but now I am stuck at the "Let's connect you to a network" screen.

No Networks are shown (my other Notebook right next to it shows 29)

Next doesn't work (greyed out)

Shift + F10 doesn't work

ALT+F4, doesn't work

I can't open any of the three options on the bottom right (greyed out)

The only FN keys working are brightness, volume and "project screen" (Win+P)

Anything I can do? I thought about trying to install Win10 first and then update.

    If you have a driver disk / dvd for your card (which might be needed for exotic hardware, i.e. laptop and/or it's network/wireless car), press Shift-F10 to open a command prompt. Go to D:\ by typing D: and run the setup exe located in the DVD (or ISO). If you reboot you'll see a network connection has been added.

    This tip helped me with my Lenovo laptop. I just pulled down the drivers, extracted them to USB and from that SHIFT+F10 menu, was able to run the install.bat file and boom -drivers installed, and my home networks appeared.

    Hi Bob, i just went through with a similar problem on an asus computer. The problem is that the windows installation files do not include the driver to your network adapter.

    So either you connect a cable to the router or, as i did, connect a usb external wireless adapter.

    After windows is install, get the missing driver from manufacturer site.

    This whole process is yet another disgrace for Microsoft.

    This worked 100%! Used my Galaxy S23 Ultra as a hotspot, connected to the laptop and set the phone to USB Tethering. Laptop connected to the internet via the phone. Thanks for the tip!

    Try using an Ethernet-USB adapter. this worked for me,
