Windows 11 fresh installation "Let's connect you to a network" stuck

Hi,

I am trying to install Win11 on my new Lenovo Air14. It was delivered with a Chinese version if the OS, so I formatted everything. I created a USB-drive with a second PC using the Media Creation Tool, but now I am stuck at the "Let's connect you to a network" screen.

No Networks are shown (my other Notebook right next to it shows 29)

Next doesn't work (greyed out)

Shift + F10 doesn't work

ALT+F4, doesn't work

I can't open any of the three options on the bottom right (greyed out)

The only FN keys working are brightness, volume and "project screen" (Win+P)

Anything I can do? I thought about trying to install Win10 first and then update.

    Unbeliveable. They don't install any kind of a driver to help you out, but request to be connected to network... They even tell you to "go online and download drivers and install them, THEN connect to network" 🤣🤣 Well how am I going to download them unless I connect to the network??

    Microsoft: "Well, we won't allow you to connect but you WILL give us your email address if you want to use our operating system 👿. Also, it doesn't matter if you PAID for it, you will be seeing ADS."

    Here's another solution ✅✅ :

    Connect your phone using USB with your charging cable, then enable tethering on your phone to share wifi with the new PC/laptop. You must have wifi on your phone.

    Note: You may need to enable developer options on your phone. Search online on how to do this for your phone. Once enabled, search for tethering in developer options. It's somewhere around 'hotspot' options. You can find 'tethering' also by holding your finger on 'hotspot' icon when you drag it from above.

    Why the hell do you need to connect to the internet in a setup environment that does not load its drivers. Boot to windows God damn it and let people install their drivers there what kind of **** is this. What the hell is wrong with you people at ms... Now I'm stuck at the setup screen which keeps trying to connect to the internet. The network link led is blinking but for some reason win11 is too stupid to get a connection.

    Thank God I have an USB network adapter else I would have been stuck. Please remove the stupid mandatory connection on setup and do this check in windows where people can actually install drivers

    From another Microsoft Answer on a similar question:

    Open cmd with Shift + F10 and type OOBE\BYPASSNRO.

    Your computer will restart and now you will have the "I don't have Internet" option.

    I'm installing 11 pro on a VM just to configure another device on a nested HyperV on AHV host. Anyways this worked for me to bypass the network check in the OOBE.

    Shift + F10 then type

    OOBE\BYPASSNRO

    The system reboots and the next time you get to the OOBE Network selection screen the option for "I don't have internet" is present. From here you can get to the OS then install any driver you need or w/e you plan to do.

    Where did you download iso file ?

    Is computer is connected with LAN cable to use ethernet internet connection.

    I would recommend you use ethernet connection to complete the windows setup

    Wifi connection needs compatible drriver must be installed within install.wim file.
