Windows 11 fresh installation "Let's connect you to a network" stuck

Hi,

I am trying to install Win11 on my new Lenovo Air14. It was delivered with a Chinese version if the OS, so I formatted everything. I created a USB-drive with a second PC using the Media Creation Tool, but now I am stuck at the "Let's connect you to a network" screen.

No Networks are shown (my other Notebook right next to it shows 29)

Next doesn't work (greyed out)

Shift + F10 doesn't work

ALT+F4, doesn't work

I can't open any of the three options on the bottom right (greyed out)

The only FN keys working are brightness, volume and "project screen" (Win+P)

Anything I can do? I thought about trying to install Win10 first and then update.

    Use this :

    Shift + F10
    When the CMD opens, write this : OOBE\BYPASSNRO and press enter.

    It will restart, and you will have the option "I don't have the internet"

    When you get to this screen, shift + F10, In Command Prompt, type the OOBE\BYPASSNRO command to bypass network requirements on Windows 11 and press Enter.

    Windows will restart, now you will get to the same acreen, but can now click I don't have an internet connection and continue with setup

    Incredible how simple it would be for Microsoft to avoid this type of problem. For the average user trying to install Windows 11 for the first time this should be a major PITA.

    I had the same problem with no networks showing installing windows 11 on a new drive in a laptop. I ended up connecting my phone via usb and switched on usb tethering and it worked a treat. Everythin installed fine after that.

    This is what finally worked for me. Got a new HP Envy 360 with a laughably small 256gb NVME and 8gb of ram so first order of business was to upgrade both. There is no driver disk as there is no disk drive. Seriously how are people suggesting this when almost no modern PCs ship with optical drives anymore? This is a thin n light so there's also no lan port. Installed the driver via shift>f10 via a USB stick and it still got stuck on attempting to connect with wifi even after scanning for devices.

    Finally saw your comment and felt stupid I hadn't thought to try that to begin with. Worked perfectly.

    I just had to use this workaround... this is so stupid.

    I'm having the same issue with a clean install on a Dell XPS 15 - with a new drive in it. Shift F10 does not work. Keyboard and mouse work. I just downloaded Win 11 from MS web page - clean thumb drive.
