Banned from Microsoft Community (commenting on an MSN article)

I was reading an article from Microsoft Edge and noticed in the comment section that I was "banned from making comments" for violating the community standards. I thought, "well that's interesting, I have never made a comment before." I even checked the comment history in my profile and confirmed that I had never commented on anything. Perhaps I got banned for thinking something. Has anyone else encountered this?

    KRey32 has an important observation and a good example of 'comments' design weaknesses.

    Unhelpful digression and petty complaint ruin 'comment' value. Good post and accurate.

    They've said baan is overturned but I still can't post. Relly annoying when two guys were posting abuse to me daay fter day, no matter what I was commenting on. It all started because I told one of them off for posting false info re Covis-19 and vaccines, yet I got banned.
