Slide Show in Windows 11

Is there a way to get the windows slides show back in W11? I used it all the time and its gone. I don't mean the lock screen one, that's no good. I have left it too late to revert to W10 regretfully

I was in the same position. I found this tutorial, and the necessary commands are in the comments sections.

It is very simple and takes File explorer back to the Windows 10 version.

    Yo Ramesh, I went with Option 1 & it worked like you said - right click comes up with 'slide show' after clicking 'more options' at bottom of first right click menu.

    You can use one of the methods below. The 1st two options are simple registry edits. Option 3 & 4 require installing third-party programs; their DLLs will load with the Explorer shell.

    As a Windows user for many, many years (I seem to remember using Windows since 1985 or 1986) the loss of Slideshow functionality is, in my opinion, a regressive change. In simpler terms, it is a downgrade. Feel free to disagree. But, Microsoft removed functionality that I have used for years. I have thousands of digital photos from decades of travels in the US, Europe, and Asia. Before I bought my first digital camera I scanned paper photos and converted them into digital files. I still have the files. But the loss of Slideshow functionality eliminates the ability to view photos in an automated, hands free process. While there may be other applications to do this, I pay Microsoft way too much money for their applications to get worse not better. As I said above, please feel free to disagree.
