I upgraded to Windows 11 and reverted back to Windows 10. Now Windows 10 automatically attempts to download and install Windows 11 again. See below:
I can Pause Updates but doing so doesn't allow me to update Windows 10 "patches." I'm being forced to Upgrade to Windows 11 without the ability to stop it.
I want to cancel the Upgrade to Windows 11 (download/installation) process which initiated on its own without my consent. The current status is how it shows in the image above - ready to download and then install Windows 11 but there is no way to stop it.

It's amazing how disrespectful Miscrosoft and its (R&D) employees towards users. Forcing upgrades on people's computers with complete disregard for their work. People have software that runs on Windows10 only. Microsoft doesn't care if this software becomes unusable. Incredible.
Oh as I said earlier, I get windows 10 informing me that "we need to get you set up", but windows 11 is much worse.

microsoft = ****! this garbage is totally not business ready. I hate to think what the new Ts and Cs are, windows 10 was toe be the last one as now it's a perpetual service, or did the sawyers miss something?
I don't think I'd want to block "all" updates, you never know when somebody's going to launch a Zero Day exploit, and yes I have Malwarebytes for those things but I'd still rather have the code fixed instead of having to block it all the time.
I can't stand the Windows 11nag on the update page, it's part of MS's never ending psychological warfare on their customers.
If you catch the update during download and 'pause updates for 7 days', and then when you resume you are asked again whether to stay on 10, and then updates for 10 are offered, so this seems to work in order to avoid the 11 install.
For those users that want to block the upgrade to Win 11 until they chose, we need a more permanent solution.
