I encountered the same problem. Although uninstalling the I2C driver sometimes provided a temporary fix, the issue persisted within a day. Eventually, I successfully resolved it.
Here's the solution that worked for me:
The problem stemmed from the trackpad connector to the motherboard. To address it, I opened the laptop, disconnected and removed the battery, and then detached the connector strip from both the motherboard and trackpad. After blowing air with a blower to eliminate any dust, I securely reconnected the trackpad's connector at both ends, the motherboard, and the trackpad itself.
