Windows update: something didn't go as planned every time i try to install an update

At The 90% more there page after restart for installing 2022-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5008353), it shows something didnt go as planned undoing changes i did it 2 times its showing the same plzz help me fix it

    It’s because the update is 5 Terabytes for whatever reason. I have the exact same update but I just keep pausing it because why is a windows update 5 terabytes makes no sense at all. No one is going to be able to install the update because I don’t think anymore just how 5TB of space laying around on there pc.

    I have the same problem.

    Windows 11 is trying to install KB5025239. It reaches 95% and goes to the "Something went wrong..." screen.

    Followed the procedure here to dism.exe everything to no avail. Stopped the services and renamed the repositories as indicated, nothing.

    Finally, tried DISKPART, setting the ESI to my system partition, nothing.

    The update is stuck, Windows keeps forcing me to "auto-restart" during off hours, and the cycle is repeated.

    A clean reset is also offered as a solution. I'm getting the error BECAUSE I did a clean reset...

    Please help/advise,

    Hi,

    I've also been struggling with win11 updates for months now... I followed the above steps with no success. I have noticed that the boot info is on my primary partition and not in the system partition. When performing the above steps on my primary partition, it prompts me to override as the drive is in use. Should I perform the override or am I going to have to try and get the boot section over to the system partition?

    Thanks for the tutorial, although the issue still persists. MMy system partition is 99MB instead of 100, not sure if that's the issue.
