Windows update: something didn't go as planned every time i try to install an update

At The 90% more there page after restart for installing 2022-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5008353), it shows something didnt go as planned undoing changes i did it 2 times its showing the same plzz help me fix it

    I purchased a 2TB M2 SSD put everything I wanted on it by making it an external drive with a drive housing. Then I factory reset the PC let it go thru all the updating process and then pulled back my backed up files from the external drive. I did not elect to do beta testing for Windows 11 this time around and I haven't had any issues since. The SSD and external drive housing was like $120 off new egg. Afterwards I installed the M2 in the PC so now I got an extra SSD so it was worth the $120. Idk what the problem was caused by but I am assuming that it was something in one of the build updates or something. Windows tech support and everyone's fixes didn't work for me. I couldn't up date anything so.... Yeah factory reset did the trick. And allowing the PC to update before installing anything else.
