Downgrade from windows 11 to windows 10 after 10 days without losing data.

Hi, Currently I am using win11 but I'm not satisfied with the system performance compared to win10.

It has been more than 10 Days since I upgraded to win11, now the go back option is grayed out.

Is there any method to downgrade to win10 without losing data?

Nope. The only way is a reinstall.

The Windows logo will appear on screen, this might be here for a while, as long as you see the animating dots, everything should be ok.

    Indeed, the backup image is terribly handy here :-)

    The new ways didn't turn out better than the old ones. I think they were trying to make it work better in the end since backup image won't have user file changes. But, at the same time everything now is a overly complicated train wreck with bugs and issues and the old ways work easily and great if one simply uses them appropriately and yet they're wanting to get rid of those.

    Read the earlier posts, you already have the answer.

    If it is less than 10 days since the downgrade, then there is a simple rollback process.

    If it is more than 10 days, you will have to do a clean install of Win10. That will wipe installed programs and personal files. Be sure to make a full backup before doing the install, just in case.

    The only way to get Windows 10 or a different OS than Windows 11, is by preforming a clean install (microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10%20) using Windows 10 Installation media (ISO file) to get windows 10 back, but unfortunately, there is a very little or 100% chance that you will lose all your files. You will need a blank DVD or USB to install Windows 8.1, which nobody would use.
