A few weeks ago, I can't remember exactly when it occurred (May have been after installing W11) my screensaver and display sleep functions just completely stopped working. I have tried every trick in the book. I have updated my BIOS and chipset drivers. Powercfg -requests shows an audio stream running from realtek, I tried overriding it but didn't solve anything. I confirmed every power option setting is correctly enabled. Basically I've spent extensive time googling and troubleshooting this to no avail.
The one thing that did fix it was running the DISM restore commands in CMD Prompt, however, it only works temporarily for the initial reboot after running that command, and then it stops working again if I reboot a 2nd time.
What can I do to fix this problem?

Hey Miaent, you're a genius! The amount of time I've wasted on this. I stopped Adobe Creative Cloud loading on startup as you suggested and bingo, everything back to working. Thank you for posting this. It is a great relief to have everything back working. So glad you stuck with it! Brilliant!

I'm the same. Run everything in the thread. Still no screen saver or monitor sleep. Wasted so much time on this and with electricity prices as they are it is a very bad time for this to happen. I am using dual monitors as well. Please fix!
Not seeing anything in event viewer. Also I rebooted and now the monitor is no longer sleeping again *sigh*
I have the same exact SSD and I tried this firmware update (mine also hadn't been updated since purchase) and it solved the monitor sleep issue for me as well!
However, this did nothing to solve the screensaver issue. The screensaver still will not engage unless I run the DISM commands, and then only continues to work until the next reboot. A curious note about the screensaver issue is it also sometimes works immediately upon reboot but then a few minutes later it stops. Perhaps some application is loading up and interfering with it?
That's a good news -- even partly. We solved one exceedingly specific needle in a haystack! I don't use screensavers myself, just power savings, so I haven't verified it on that end.
Worth checking out, but if you go to Event Viewer > System > are you seeing any specifically recurring themes/issues in generated output? Because I've been trying to track down a lot of these same issues for months (which is how I found your thread), and how I ultimately tracked down the SSD issue because I kept noticing a repeating loop.
