Can't switch out of S mode: "Try that again"
I recently purchased a laptop that came with the S mode of Windows. On the first startup it automatically installed Windows 11 (so downgrading to 10 is not an option). After set up etc. I updated Microsoft Store and installed various Windows updates and tried to switch it out of S mode. Instead, for the past few hours and with each of the hundreds of attempts, I keep getting a window that says "Try that again. Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help" along with an error code that changes every time. I am burned out and all out of ideas, any assistance on the matter will be greatly appreciated.

2024-05-26T03:21:41+00:00 Same problem, this is ridiculous......Who does MS think they are, telling me what I can and cannot install on my laptop.
Of course, their customer support is non-existent, so I am stuck with a paper weight unless by some miracle I get a call back.
I'm not hold my breath.

2024-05-25T01:54:23+00:00 It’s not a system issue.
Its designed by MS this way so you have to shop from them, its making use of their monopoly and downright unethical!
You have to go through their support to unlock it, ridiculous.

2024-05-25T01:35:03+00:00 There are too many people on this thread to make me believe that this is a corrupted system on all of these brand new computers across many brands.
