csgo takes +- 20 seconds to start up

since yesterday i upgraded to windows 11. everything was fine and worked good. then i started up csgo, noticed it took so long to start up. like 20 seconds what was in win10 only like 2/3 seconds. i tryed to reinstal csgo. steam or even today did a clean reinstal of windows11. the problem did not go away...

it not a hardware problem.. it is a software problem ( win 11) every games runs perfect exept csgo wel if it runs it runs good. but its soooo slow... pleas help me out. i have tryed everything...

    I was hoping it will be fixed, but it's still slow to start.

    just getting used to it.

    I have a feeling that microsoft started to push users and activate the "non-gently" migration to Windows 11 making Windows 10 "worse". Any news regarding this CSGO issue?

    Same issues here. 5900x with nvidia 3090. & nvme disk. Horrible

    Hello everyone !

    It feels good not to be alone encountering these problems.

    PC Specs

    • CPU: i7 8700k
    • GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060 6Gb
    • RAM: 16Gb @3200MHz
    • Storage: SAMSUNG SSD 980 M.2 500 GO PCIE 3.0 X4 NVME
    • OS: Windows 11 22H2

    It's been 1 month since I've decided to *upgrade* to Windows 11 *Pro*. Guess Win11 is still in Alpha (if not in Beta) even after the 1 year release...

    Regarding CS:GO, the exact same problem as everyone here happens to me : CS:GO takes from 16 to 17s to start, while it used to start instantly through Windows 10.

    Not here to blame nor to cry, but after more than a year of Win11 release, maybe time has come for the dev teams - both from Microsoft & Valve - to at least try to resolve this scanning problem !

    We already know the answer from both of these companies.

    Anyways, here is a list of things I've used / am using to this day :

    • installed Win11 from scratch instead of "upgrading" from Win10 (formatted M2, fresh & cleaned hardware) ;
    • checked CPU/GPU temperatures & disks' health ;
    • sfc /scannow'd & so on related to CMD ;
    • using Intelligent Standby List Cleaner (ISLC) ;
    • unparked CPU cores (Park Control) ;
    • disabled unneeded services (msconfig & Autoruns program) ;
    • enabled MSI mode for with MSI Mode Utility.

    I've been using the exact same programs on Win10, never been in any trouble regarding performances back then...

    Anyways, hope this helps the devs to at least get informed of this aberration...

    If any solution got found since November the 10th (other than getting back to Win10 since I can't myself do so), I'd love to be informed !

    Edit n°2 05/12/2022 : To this day, still having the 16-17s launch time for CS:GO.

    I'm desperately checking each day for a divine Windows 11 update or a game update from Valve.

    Edit n°1 10/11/2022 : still having the problem with the driver update, version 526.86.
